Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday said that infrastructure at picturesque Pahalgam resort in South Kashmir is all set to be outsourced through Public Private Partnership (PPP) Mode. Replying to the question of MLA Altaf Ahmad Wani, Minister in charge for Tourism Department as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that Jammu and Kashmir Tourist Development Corporation (JKTDC) unit, Pahalgam Club and Convention Centre (PC&CC) and hutments are in the process of being outsourced through PPP mode by the committee constituted vide government order No. 645-JK (GAD) of 2023 dated 01.06.2023. The government said there is no policy or exemption being granted in obtaining building permissions for the PMAY beneficiaries or local residents within the jurisdiction of Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA). “Every person intending to undertake or carry out development of any site has to seek permission,” it added—(KNO)
