Pigeon with coded rings caught on IB in Jammu’s Kanachak | KNO

Jammu, Sep 02 (KNO): A pigeon having coded rings on its feet was caught by security forces along the International Border in Kanachak police station area of Jammu district on Thursday. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)that a team of Border Security Force (BSF) was on operational duty near the International Border when a suspicious Bird was found flying there which was caught later. “On one foot of the bird, a ring having codes in digits was found while on its other foot another ring having code ok was found,” the official said, adding that the bird has been taken into possession by forces with further investigation of this matter is going on. They added that possibility of this bird being used for spying along the International border cannot be ruled out—(KNO)
