Rajouri, Dec 07 (KNO): A retired police officer and his younger brother were killed while three of their family members received serious injuries in a road accident that took place on the main highway near Nowshera town. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the accident took place after a car collided head-on with an Army truck coming from the opposite side. In this accident that took place on Jammu-Poonch highway at Daliyan village near Nowshera, a retired police Sub-Inspector identified as Mushtaq Khan, son of Mohammad Fazal Khan of Salwah Mendhar were killed on the spot while his younger brother Atta Ullah Khan succumbed to injuries at the hospital during treatment. Other three members of their family, who were injured in the accident are undergoing treatment and are reportedly having multiple serious injuries, officials said, adding that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law in local police station while investigation and legal formalities are going on—(KNO)
