Students in Bandipora school struggle as relentless rains submerge school ground | KNO

Bandipora, May 10 (KNO): The students from Government Middle School in the Ghat Hakabara area of Bandipora District voiced their dissatisfaction with the administration, highlighting the dire situation caused by incessant rains. While speaking to the news agency—Kashmir news observer (KNO), they expressed concerns about the school ground being completely submerged in water, which has led to numerous difficulties and challenges for them. The students of our institution have voiced their distress caused by the relentless rainfall, leaving our school ground completely waterlogged. They expressed the unfortunate reality of having to remove their shoes at the entrance gate and wade through the water just to enter the premises. Shabnum Maqbool, a student highlighted the inability to engage in outdoor activities such as playtime or attend the morning assembly due to the current conditions. Meanwhile, the students have appealed to the District Administration to intervene and resolve this issue as soon as possible so that we will not suffer. While talking to Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed, said that many soil filling works have been stopped due to bad weather, now the weather is good and work will resume, he also urged people to inform PRIs about such developmental works—(KNO)
