TA soldier shot at, injured in Tral | KNO

Tral, Dec 04 (KNO): A Territorial Army (TA) Soldier was shot at by the terrorists at Sofigund Aripal area of Tral hamlet in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening. A police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the terrorists opened fire upon a TA soldier outside his residence at Sofigund Aripal. In the incident, the soldier identified as Delhair Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi of Sofigund Khanagund suffered injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A top police official said that the TA soldier was on leave, adding that he has suffered injury in leg and his condition is stated to be stable. Meanwhile, the security forces have cordoned off the whole area to nab the attackers—(KNO)
