The locals from the area told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the slow pace of work at the busiest Batmaloo in Srinagar is causing a traffic mess in the area. A local resident Basit said the area is facing frequent traffic jams as the work is going on at a very slow pace, causing inconvenience to them. “I have to travel on the same route daily and due to the traffic jam, I mostly reach late to my destination. I would like to request the authorities to kindly look into this matter,” said a commuter.
