An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a youth identified as Mudasir Ahmad Malik, son of Ab Aziz Malik of Batkoot Pahalgam died on the spot after an Alto car skidded off the road in Yanner Pahalgam near Ganeshpora Bridge. He said that two others identified as Tariq Ahmad Malik and Mudasir Ahmad Rather—residents of Batkoot were injured in incident and have been hospitalized.
