SDRF, Police in coordination with locals launches search operation

Uri, Mar 05 (KNO): A youth along with a girl on Wednesday jumped into river Jhelum in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla area following which a massive search operation was launched by a team of SDRF, Police in coordination with locals. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the duo, one from Dhani Busgran and another (girl), a resident of Kundi Barjala jumped on Wednesday afternoon, following which a massive search was launched. Teams comprising of SDRF, Police and locals were part of the operation. The bodies were yet to be retrieved. The search operation has been halted due to the darkness and will be resumed after a day light, officials added—(KNO)
