Srinagar, Oct 04 (KNO): A civilian was shot at and injured by terrorists at Wanihama area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that terrorists fired upon a civilian identified as Sahil Bashir resident of Wanihama Anantnag. He said that Sahil, who is said to be a Class 10th student, has been shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment. Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. "#Terrorists fired upon one person namely Sahil Bashir Dar son of Bashir Ah Dar resident of Wanihama in #Anantnag district. The injured person is being shifted to hospital for treatment. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow," Kashmir Zone Police wrote on X. However, Principal Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, Anjum Farhana told KNO that the condition of the youth is critical as he has a bullet injury on neck. The youth has been shifted to SKIMS Soura, for advanced treatment, Principal GMC said—(KNO)
