Kishtwar, Nov 05 (KNO): An encounter broke out on Wednesday morning in the Kalaban forest area of Naidgam in Chatroo Sub-Division of Kishtwar district, officials said. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that security forces launched a search operation following specific intelligence inputs, during which contact was established with the hiding terrorists. An exchange of fire is currently underway. In a post on X, the White Knight Corps said: “In an intelligence-based operation, in coordination with J&K Police, alert troops of White Knight Corps established contact with terrorists in the general area of Chhatru.
