Srinagar, Aug 22 (KNO): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Saturday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and presented the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan – 100 Days Campaign Coffee Table Book to him.
According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the book designed, curated and published by DIPR J&K, captured the journey, and collective efforts of the 100-day campaign towards building a drug-free Jammu Kashmir.
Pertinently, LG Sinha spearheaded the movement against the drugs in the Union Territory and led rallies across all the 20 districts in the region. The drive against drugs evoked a massive response from the people with thousands participating in the rallies and other programmes held in J&K.
Officials said that LG Sinha also apprised the Prime Minister about various matters concerning Jammu and Kashmir, including the prevailing situation and key issues related to the Union Territory. “Latest developments and the overall security, administrative and developmental scenario of Jammu and Kashmir were also discussed during the meeting,” they added—(KNO)
