Srinagar, Jan 28 (KNO): Actress Niharika Chouksey, who plays Anu in Zee TV’s popular show ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’, spoke about the channel’s on-location shoot in Kashmir that brought to life one of the most anticipated moments in the show—the grand proposal of Anu and Arya (Sharad Kelkar). Sharing her excitement, Niharika, speaking exclusively with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said Kashmir is one of her favourite places ever, and to get a chance to shoot here was amazing. “We are feeling so good, and it was an experience I will always cherish," she said, adding, "It was very cold here, and the wind was blowing strongly, but you will really enjoy it when you watch the episode—it is all worth it. You will finally see the much-awaited proposal of Anu and Arya.” The actor also spoke about the challenges of shooting in the cold, mountainous terrain. “The place is honestly very, very cold. At times, the travel journey was painful, especially because we had to use the ATV bike, which gives a proper roller-coaster feeling. My costume changes meant I had to go up and down multiple times,” Niharika said. “But in the end, all the problems were worth it," she added. "The outcome and the proposal turned out grand, and waiting for it was worth every moment.” Describing the emotional significance of the scene, Chouksey added, “The moment you all have been waiting for has finally arrived. I had to tell him ‘I Love You’ on a grand scale, and viewers will get to see all the emotions unfold.” She said there were challenges, "but when things come together perfectly, in the end, it is all about love and a little patience”. The Kashmir sequence and the on-location shoot were filmed in early January 2026 across the beautiful locations of Gulmarg and Pahalgam. A Zee TV spokesperson told KNO, "At a time when many productions rely on recreated sets, the channel chose conviction over convenience, taking 'Tumm Se Tumm Tak' to real locations to preserve the emotional and visual integrity of this pivotal romantic moment—(KNO)
