Jammu, Jan 08 (KNO): Two teenage boys were repatriated, one from each side, at Chakan Da Bagh LoC crossing point in Poonch district.
Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that 17-years old Mohammad Shabir son of Mohammad Bashir of Mandhar village of Poonch inadvertently crossed LoC and moved to Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) side on December 24, after which a missing report was also registered in local police station.
Similarly, a boy from PaK identified as 14-year-old Ali Haider son of Mohammad Sharief of Abbasspur of PaK was apprehended by forces on 31 December at Gulpur in Poonch after he inadvertently crossed LoC.
On Friday, officials added, Mohammad Shabir resident of Poonch Mandhar was repatriated by PaK authorities and handed over to this side while PaK boy Ali Haider was sent to his home by Indian authorities—(KNO)
